ask for the texture rig
they will give you :
1. Air compressor
2. Hose
3. Hopper
Go purchase premixed boxes of drywall topping
add 2 cups of water to start (add more to get the consistency of Crepes)
You can do this...it is very easy, and will save you a ton of money also....
