Popular chefs Annabelle White "The Cuddly Cook" and Mark Gregory - New Zealand's only Michelin Starred Chef, helped the Wellington City Mission by demonstrating to their clients how to cook on a budget. The class focussed on using ingredients usually found in a City Mission food parcel and everyday leftovers.
The initiative was created and funded by the Goodman Fielder Cares Trust, and was proudly supported by Annabelle White, Mark Gregory, DINEAID, the Copthorne Hotel Oriental Parade, Howie Shoot Pictures and the Wellington City Mission.
A huge thank you to all involved, it was a great afternoon that has given those who attended a confidence boost in the kitchen.
