Every week for 13 years, the legendary street performer, @Colin Huggins , has pushed a 900lb baby grand piano into Washington Square Park to play for crowds of New Yorkers and tourists, inviting them to lay under his piano for a life-changing experience.
But when the pandemic hit, the tourists vanished, and Colin watched NYC transform from his piano bench.
The city was struggling. Over the past 6 months, Colin has been reevaluating why he does what he does, and what he has to offer to the city.
This is the story of what he’s found.

Washington Square Park is our favorite park in New York City, and almost every time we've been there filming, Colin has been there too.
He is truly an NYC legend, and we've always wanted to make a film with him.
When we first spoke a few months ago, he was open to the idea, however, he told us he didn’t want to make a video about him pushing this heavy piano out into the park. He has done that 100 times, and he’s onto other things, but that’s all journalists want to cover.
We told him that was fine. We’ll tell whatever story is true to who he is today.
