👋 Hi, I‘m Nenad Leonart, a baroque musician ⚜️ based in Switzerland 🇨🇭 mostly playing harpsichord solo and baroque organ (sometimes also clavichord and other keyboard instruments). 🎹🎹🎹
I believe strongly that this world 🌍 can change through music 🎵 and beauty ✨ and I live for music with all my heart. ♥️
.
📚 I studied in Zurich, Switzerland as a harpsichord player (Cembalo 🇩🇪 | Clavecin 🇫🇷 | Clavicembalo 🇮🇹) and also started my own music video production business in Leonart Studio, Greifensee, as 🎥 Leonart Music Video 🦁🎶🎬 [ Ссылка ]
🎹I also work as a church organist, concert harpsichordist and basso continuo player.🎹
Nenad Leonart comes from Nis, Serbia, where he spent the first eight years of his life. For the piano, he was inspired by a young neighbor and his mother, so that he could make his first experiences with keyboard instruments early on. Since 2001, he has been in piano lessons at the Musikschule Konservatorium Zürich MZK with Robert Kolinsky. At a young age, he began with public performances as a soloist as well as a chamber musician. Soon after, he already played with various larger ensembles, including at the International Martinu Festtage in Basel and as a soloist with orchestra. He also participated in competitions, where he was awarded several first prizes at the Swiss Youth Music Competition SJMW and the Zurich Music Competition ZMW. His enthusiasm for different styles and different ways of making music showed relatively quickly: he played the guitar intensively for a while, after which he devoted himself to composing. His piano concertino was premiered as part of a tour in Lithuania with the orchestra of the Oerlikon Cantonal School.
During his piano studies with Konstantin Scherbakov at the Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK, Leonart focused more and more on early music. Soon after, he switched his studies to harpsichord with Michael Biehl and immersed himself in the world of historical keyboard instruments. His diplomas, both with distinction, testify to the diversity of his interests: For the bachelor's degree, he led into the world of French court life with letters from the Liselotte of the Palatinate and the music of her time; in his master of thedogy degree, he played on four different instruments - harpsichord, organ, virginal and clavichord Leonart has now started a new degree and is still at the ZHdK in the Toni area for his master in performance on harpsichord.
Leonart has been active in the church music sector since 2014. After his engagement as choir director of the reformed church choir "tonart" from Volketswil and his organist activity ad interim at the city church in Diessenhofen, he worked full-time as a church musician. This was followed by employment at the Reformed church Greifensee as the main organist as well as at the Catholic parish of St. Benignus in Pfäffikon ZH as a temporary organist. A year later, Leonart became a cantor in Greifensee. Since September 2020, Leonart has been the main organist of the reformed parish of Zell. Numerous projects, concerts and representations have led him to different places and made many people meet.
Since 2019, Leonart has also been the conductor of the Hegnau Mixed Choir.
New interests continue to lead into the future: Leonart started its own concert series in 2019 and founded its company "Leonart Studio" in 2020, a company for multimedia productions and cultural events. This resulted in various church service recordings and productions during the Covid-19 pandemic as well as the concert tour "Concerts in front of the windows of the city" on the organ truck, where Leonart, in cooperation with the Martinu Festtage, gave 108 organ concerts for seniors in retirement homes during the lockdown.
