The goal of achieving net-zero air transportation by 2050 presented an enormous challenge to the industry.
Manufacturers and operators began putting plans in place to revolutionize the way air travel is delivered. Converting to new sustainable fuels, transitioning aircraft to electric propulsion, and modernizing operations all contributed to achieving this ambitious goal. While challenges and obstacles were expected along the way, having a coherent plan was essential. This session introduced and highlighted the milestones necessary for success.
