For the first time, the Child Health and Mortality Prevention Surveillance (CHAMPS) Network is making available cause of death data from children under the age of five in South Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. CHAMPS cause of death data provides more accurate and precise information on infant and child deaths than is typically available and used.
