French town in the Aveyron department being battered by a fierce hail storm. Heavy rain and a vicious hailstorm wreaked havoc across Aveyron, France on July 11th! Decazeville took the brunt of the storm, with flooded streets, property damage, and power outages. The icy barrage caused minor damage to property, while torrents of rainwater turned streets into raging rivers. Faced with the chaotic situation, authorities scrambled to deploy more than a hundred firefighters to manage the crisis. The town hall, recognizing the severity, promptly opened a dedicated crisis unit to address the situation and assist residents.
