Traeger Grill Recipes | Kalua Pork & Hawaiian Mac Salad
We are The First Timers, and we are filming first time experiences so you don't have to. In today's episode, Terry will be making smoked Kalua Pork on the Traeger pellet grill and Hawaiian Macaroni salad for the first time.

Kalua Pork Recipe:
Bone In Pork Shoulder
Alaea Hawaiian Sea Salt (Medium Grain)
Black Pepper (Course Ground)
Granulated Chicken Flavored Soup Base
1 Package Banana Leaves (Fresh if possible)
1 Small Can Pineapple Juice
Butcher Twine
1. Score the fat side of the pork in a diagonal pattern
2. Pierce entire Pork with small paring knife (avoid the bone)
3. Rub all sides with Pineapple
4. Apply Salt and Black Pepper liberally
5. Apply Granulated Soup Base in moderation
6. Place on pre-heated Traeger Grill set to 275 Degrees Fahrenheit for 3 Hours
7. Remove Pork from Grill and wrap in Banana Leaves (secure with butcher twin)
8. Place back on Traeger Grill until the internal temperature reaches 200 Degrees Fahrenheit
9. Remove Pork and allow it to rest for about 30 minutes
10. Shred and Enjoy!
