Ludhiana is the most populous and the largest city in the Indian state of Punjab. It is a major industrial center of Northern India, referred to as "Manchester of India". It is situated on the banks of the Sutlej river.  Ludhiana is the pilgrim center of Punjab and you can find a number of temples and gurudwaras. The most interesting attraction of the city is the ‘Lodhi Fort’ built by Sikandar Lodhi near the Sutlej River around 500 years ago.
