Grandpa style is one of the most easiest way of making tea. In this method, you leave the leaves in the cup, just like many older folks in Chinese villages are seen to do - hence grandpa style.
You put the required amount of tea leaf and just pour hot water into it. After a couple of minutes, you will find most of the leaves have settled to the bottom. You can start drinking now.
If there are leaves floating on the surface gently blow them to the sides of the cup; they too will soon float to the bottom.
Once you are down to about 1/3 of the cup, top up again with hot water. And this time you can actually start drinking right away.
Try drinking our Darjeelings grandpa style. And you"ll see it is fun.
