INFO: In this video i thought i’d do a breakdown of Josh Homme’s guitar playing. First i thought i’d play through a selection of the most iconic Josh Homme riffs that comes to my mind. Then i’ll break these songs down into a set of scales to get a better understanding of his unique melodies. We’ll later take a look at the individual playing techniques that Homme’s using, his approach to picking and experimenting with various genres and finally what effects he’s using.
