Located just a stone's throw away from Newcastle upon Tyne, Prudhoe is a historic hub of coal mining in South Northumberland, while also being home to a centuries-old castle and some delightful treasures in the town centre!
As we walk around Prudhoe, we pass a number of interesting landmarks, including the West Wylam Inn, The East Centre, Balls Fish & Chips, Front Street, The Glade, South Road, Prudhoe Parish & Church Hall, Prudhoe Post Office, Dr Syntax, Prudhoe Methodist Church, St Mary Magdalene Church, Station Road and Prudhoe Castle.
Thank you so much to the following sites for their help in my research of Prudhoe:
