On 23 June, 2021, the Brazilian Economy Minister Paulo Guedes sent to the leader of the lower house of Congress, Arthur Lira, the second phase of the tax reform bill. Among the changes proposed by Brazil’s federal government are: the increase in the limit of Brazilian individual taxpayer income that is tax exempt, which increase to R$ 2,500 from R$ 1,903.98.
