In anticipation of the 69th Annual Writers Guild Awards at New York’s Edison Ballroom, please join the SAG-AFTRA Foundation and the Writers Guild of America, East for a pre-awards panel with a roster of television nominees discussing their recognized works and the process of bringing their shows to the small screen. Nominees from “Drama Series,” “Long Form” and “Comedy/Variety” will delve into the story lines and characters that garnered special attention for their originality, complexity and lyricism in 2016. They will also share thoughts on casting, creating dynamic voices, and inspiration drawn from actors' performances.
Panelists include Ben Robbins (Madoff), Robert Smigel (Triumph's Election Special), Tracey Scott Wilson (The Americans) and Tami Sagher (Inside Amy Schumer). Moderated by WGAE President Michael Winship.
