The ID.2, priced under $27,000, aims to replace the Polo with a design similar to the ID.2all concept. It will feature an all-electric front-wheel-drive platform called MEB Entry, offering a 38-kWh or 56-kWh battery. The larger battery provides a range of 280 miles. High-performance GTI and crossover-like ID.2X trims are also planned. Volkswagen promises the return of physical buttons in its new affordable Electric Vehicles. The ID.2 will be unveiled later this year, with production starting next year.
