This video is a data visualization of Democracy Index using data from the Economic Intelligence Unit. It is an expression of the quality of democracies in the world in a scale of 0 - 10, showing the most democratic Countries(#Top 20 Countries).
According to the EIU, the Democracy Index is based on five categories: electoral process and pluralism; civil liberties; the functioning of government; political participation; and political culture.
In 2019 democracy ranking, the top 5 countries are: Norway, Iceland, Sweden, New Zeeland and Finland.
