This is an older Carvin CT6 22 fret all Honduran mahogany guitar with one of the best maple quilt tops I have ever seen. The other CT6 24 I have has an Ebony fretboard while this one has a maple board. They sound quite a bit different although both are great guitars. This clip has a Lundgren Suckerbucker pickup the bridge. This pickup has a very organic quality to it with a scooped mid and emphasized low and thump and high and sizzle.
All of the pots were changed from stock as well as the toggle which is now a CTS.
One of many late comparisons I made with my iPhone for personal use. It occurred to me that I should probably post them for others and possibly save someone the time of doing these ridiculous experiments themselves. Hope these are of some use to someone?
