This is a 4K UHD review of the recent Criterion release of Ridley's Scott's 1991 classic 'Thelma & Louise'. Image aspect ratio is approximately 2.35:1 and the sound is DTS-HD 5.1. Running time is 2 hours and ten minutes. 4K disc has also had Dolby Vision for those with systems suitable equipped but in here I watched with standard HDR which provided a beautifully filmic presentation.
Also included in this video is the previous Blu-ray release and the NTSC LaserDisc which we've owned since 1994. The previous Blu-ray contained all the extras of the new release with the exception of a couple of new interviews recorded especially for the Criterion release. These are on the first of the two Blu-rays included in the 4K pack which also contains the film in HD but taken from the same 4K master as the 4K disc.
