How to Make your own Moon Pies from scratch!!
During the Covid-19 crisis, please donate to my Venmo @Melissa-Kenny-11 and we will distribute 100% of these donations to the Village at Ithaca. They were established to basically be a mediator between our schools and families of need in our community that don’t get the same resources as privileged families. “Village at Ithaca ensures that students, particularly Black, Latino, and low-income students, consistently meet or exceed local and NYS standards of achievement.” They have been recently working directly with our schools but with those being shut down, they are literally driving around the community delivering food and basic necessities to specific families. What. An. Awesome. Organization!!!!

Ingredients:
2 sticks very soft Butter
8 oz (or 1 Cup + 2 Tablespoons) Dark Brown Sugar
1/2 oz (or 1 Tablespoon) Molasses
1 oz (or 2 Tablespoons) Honey
2 eggs
10 oz ( or 2 1/3 cup) Whole Wheat Flour
4 oz (a little less than 1 cup) All Purpose Flour
2 tsp Cinnamon
2 tsp Salt
2 tsp Baking Powder
12 oz (one bag) Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
2 Tablespoons Coconut Oil

Leave out in cool temps for the chocolate to harden before eating! Definitely left that part out in the video! ;)
