In his first 100 days, President Biden sought to pause deportations, but a lawsuit filed Friday by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said the Biden Administration failed to "provide concrete, reasonable justification" for the pause. A Texas Federal Judge granted a restraining order Tuesday, blocking the deportation ban order. “Within 6 days of Biden’s inauguration, Texas has HALTED his illegal deportation freeze,” Paxton tweeted after the order. The restraining order is effective for the next 14 days as the case continues.
