YouTube TV Family Sharing Limited Access Status - Please Sign in From Home Area Location Restriction

YouTube TV allows you to share your account with 5 other people. But if you're sharing YouTube TV with someone that lives outside your zip code or state, they will lose access within 3 months of activating their guest account.

In this video I'll show you how to reactivate YouTube TV for family or friends even if they don't live in your Home Area. It's a temporary fix that does need regular maintenance. And you'll need the Gmail address and password from the shared account. And not everyone is comfortable with this part. But it is necessary! Another requirement is that you, the account owner will need to be in your Home Area.

With those requirements in mind we're ready to get started. But don't worry, it's easy. To restore access, you the account owner will simply go to tv.youtube.com and log into the shared user's account with their Gmail and password. Now just watch a couple of minutes of programming then sign out. And that's all you have to do to reactivate a shared users account.
