How's it going folks! In today's video I show you all how to teach your dog (and yourself) loose leash walking. In the first half of the video I explain the reasoning's as to why dogs might pull on the leash to give the human a chance to understand where the dog is coming from, and that they are in fact, an animal not a human. That still doesn't excuse any behavior that might drag the person at the other end of the leash through the dirt and mud! However, before any owner starts blaming their dog for their bad behavior, they should look into their own behavior and body language and how it might affect the dog's training. Remember, never blame the dog, if your dog does anything you don't like, it was likely a human mistake that caused the issue in the first place. Even so, don't let that discourage you, just listen to what your dog is telling you and work together to be the best team possible!
This type of lesson will take time. Learning anything new is a process not an event. Take breaks when you need to and have fun with your dog! =D
Let me know what you want to see next time and remember to stay positive!
