Congress MP KC Venugopal launched a scathing attack on Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on June 18 over the Neet row. Attacking him, he said that the Union Education Minister has no moral right to continue as an Education Minister. He said, "The Union Education Minister has no moral right to continue as an Education Minister. For the last 5 years, he has continued as a Minister of Education. The entire exam's credibility had been questioned. The NEET exam is the latest. He himself is admitting 'some gadbadi ho gaya'. Then he says that he will punish the officers...Thousands of students are in a worrisome position. Their parents are crying. This government is least sensitive to the future of the students of this country. We are going to raise it in the Parliament, we are going to make this a big issue...We need a clear answer from the government. They cannot run away from this issue."
