A Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle launched the Soyuz MS-23 spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, on 24 February 2023, at 00:24 UTC (05:24 local time; 23 February, at 19:24 EST). The uncrewed Soyuz MS-23 transports provisions to the International Space Station (ISS) and will return back to Earth later this year with Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Prokopyev, Dmitri Petelin and NASA astronaut Frank Rubio. Soyuz MS-23 is scheduled to autonomously dock to the Prichal module of the International Space Station on 25 February 2023.
