Galatopita (Greek Milk Pie)
Ingredients
Custard Filling:
6 cups milk
1 - 1/2 cups sugar
3/4 Cup fine semolina
3/4 cup unsalted butter
7 eggs
1 zest of lemon
2 tablespoons vanilla extract
10 sheets Fillo pastry
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup butter melted
Top layer
2 tablespoons water
1 egg, lightly beaten
Baking dish size 33 x 23
Pre heat oven on 180c
Baking time between 45 - 60min.
