Stretching for plantar fasciitis is NOT going to address the root problem. The root problem is weakness in the foot muscles that help support the arch. When the arch cannot be supported by the muscles, then more pressure is put onto the ligaments and other parts of the foot.
The plantar fascia is one of the most common parts that takes the pressure. Solving the root problem of plantar fasciitis is what gets you the quickest and long-term recovery.
