Little beach.
Prainha's Caribbean-colored sea welcomes travelers arriving on the road. It's difficult not to look away from the steering wheel to enjoy the wonderful view of the first beach to be seen by tourists visiting Arraial do Cabo.
The small cove, located between the Mirante and Forno hills, offers colorful and calm sea, fine sand and lots of excitement! Because it is excellent for swimming and has very easy access, Prainha attracts a large number of visitors, especially on weekends.
The right corner of the beach (when looking at the sea) is always busier. There, there are several restaurants, a clothing market, kiosks with many snack options, chairs and umbrellas for rent, as well as kayaks and stand up paddle boards. By offering more infrastructure, the space also attracts more people. At this end of the beach, there is also a small trail that leads to Praia da Graçainha. Just 15 m long, it receives fishermen every morning who collect their nets and end up offering a beautiful spectacle to tourists.
In the left corner, the peace and tranquility of a practically deserted beach prevails. It is almost unbelievable that the two environments can be on the same strip of sand. If you want an emptier beach, the ideal is to go that way. It is also from the left corner that you can access the entrance and from where you can record one of the most famous images of Arraial do Cabo.
The beach is undergoing a process of revitalization of the coastline and promises improvements for visitors. Access is quite easy and there are no trails to be followed. There are many streets with parking along the beach.
