Genesis unveiled the GT concept car Genesis X (X) at the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show Press Day held at KINTEX on the 30th. It feels like the Genesis Coupe, which was discontinued in 2016 and left many consumers disappointed, has been revived as an electric car. The Genesis X is an electric GT concept car unveiled in the United States in 2021. Genesis' key design element, 'two lines', was placed throughout the interior and exterior, and the mass-produced crystal sphere was introduced for the first time through the GV60. The front part is harmonized with the crest grill and two rows of headlights penetrating the wheel arches. The G-Matrix pattern, which embodies the diffuse reflection of diamonds, was applied to create the image of a future electric car, and the bumper was designed with a double structure to give it a strong impression. A clamshell hood was applied to eliminate the panel gap, while also realizing a sophisticated image. The side part has the traditional shape of the GT with a long bonnet and short rear. The arched parabolic line across the body and the maximized volume of the fender add a luxurious atmosphere. The electric car-specific design, such as a sliding charging door without a separate parting line and digital side mirrors, is also a point. The rear part embodies a horseshoe attached to a horseshoe to realize a simple image. The interior contains the beauty of blank space, a unique aesthetic element of Korea. The dashboard was designed to give passengers a feeling of approaching, and the center console was designed as a floating type. The connection with the external design was emphasized by emphasizing the two-line design element in the air outlet as well.
