香港管弦樂團首席巴松管莫班文，夥拍鋼琴家王應淳，為大家送上一個曼妙的巴松管獨奏會，演奏波札、米爾德和布隆斯作曲家的優美樂章。應淳曾跟隨莫班文學習巴松管，如今已是獨當一面的鋼琴演奏家，今次二人合奏，實在難能可貴。最後，港樂低音巴松管樂師崔祖斯與莫班文，一起演奏波札為兩支巴松管而寫的小二重奏，此曲生動活潑，討人歡喜，更展現了兩位樂師的非凡技藝。請細心欣賞。
HK Phil Principal Bassoon Benjamin Moermond, together with pianist Anson Wong, treats us to a beautiful bassoon recital of music from Eugène Bozza, Ludwig Milde and Victor Bruns. Anson studied bassoon with Benjamin before, which makes this performance very precious, hearing two talents with a longstanding musical partnership. To conclude the programme, HK Phil contra-bassoonist Adam Treverton Jones joins in Bozza’s Duettino for Two Bassoons, a delightful and playful piece that showcases the virtuosity of the bassoonists.
