I wanted to test the Baader 7nm H-alpha 2 inch filter on the full moon. I will show how to remove the image noise and get more details, by stacking multiple images in Photoshop, and using a Median Filter to remove the noise.
This test was also useful so see how bright is the moon in Ha, and compare my normal settings with the ones i used with the Ha filter, using as comparison, the Ha image transformed in black and white, compared with an image of the moon without filter i think there is a difference in exposure, close to 6 stops of light between the image that i took using the 7nm H-alpha filter and an image that i took without a filter.
The conclusion is that full moon it will still affect your images even with the 7nm filter but you'll still be able to get useful data.
