He serves as Chairman of the Helicopter Society of Nepal and Airline Operators Association of Nepal, and is a member of the Nepal Cancer Care Foundation. Capt. Thapa also advises Media Alliance Nepal and is the author of "Barood Mathi Uthda (Flying Above Explosives)."
