In this video, I plugged directly into the amp, added no effects to my sound, and recorded a "realistic" version of what the amp sounds like for blues and rock tones on 2 guitars (strat/tele style). This is not meant to be groundbreaking playing or tone. But simply what you should expect the hear from a Mesa Boogie Express 5:50 212 amp on the 50 watt mode at VERY low volumes. The amp sounds great (a lot more sustain and low end gain) when it is peaking at 50 watts however, not everyone can play a 50 watt tube amp wide open all the time to get their rock and blues tones. So here are some VERY simple tones.
When I was looking into buying this amp a few years ago, I noticed Mesa's video and a couple other videos but for some reason, all of the tones in those vids seemed unrealistic to what you can ACTUALLY achieve if you buy the amp. So these tones are meant to simply be a base in which you can build your own personal tone off of if you are looking into purchasing this amp.
