The oldest person in Britain, who attributed her long life to drinking whisky, has died at the age of 112. Grace Jones, also known as 'Amazing Grace' died in her sleep at her home in Worcester last Friday, her family has now revealed. The-mother-of-one lived through 26 Prime Minister, five monarchs and survived both world wars and was said to have been fit and active until the very end of her life. A Liverpudlian by birth, Mrs Jones was born on September 16, 1906 - only five years after the death of Queen Victoria.
