Haltech ECU World Cup Finals - Import vs Domestic at Maryland Int'l Raceway 11/7-9/14

The Carla Racing / CMB Tuning / Chapulin Sport FWD Civic "La Carla" which sat out most of the 2014 season redoing the race program came out strong at the season finale World Cup Finals, however the ending for the team was bitter sweet, Nelson Aleman piloted La Carla to a personal best e/t of 8.45 @ 162mph, however right around 1200ft something let go causing the car to turn hard right into the wall at 160mph, riding the wall and finally coming to a stop in the middle of the track. Thankfully and most importantly Nelson got out right away and was ok, it was really tough for the Carla Racing team as this was a car that has progressed through the years, each year getting quicker and quicker.

The team says they will be back soon better then ever.
