Simple flow test to show the massive difference between a log turbo manifold, and a properly designed equal length tubular turbo manifold.
Both manifolds are for RHD turbo BMW inline 6 engines.
The log manifold actually produced 800bhp on the dyno.
While the flow out of the exhaust ports on the log manifold tries to exit via other ports etc, the properly designed tubular manifold does not. Well, on this vid it actually creates suction on all other exhaust ports, lol.
This means, with far less reversal, far better cylinder emptying on each exhaust stroke, and equal flow from each cylinder, you have more power, more response, and much less stress on the engine.
