This is a tutorial series for Blender on how to get started from the beginning not knowing anything and work your way up to being able to use Blender confidently and without being intimidated. In this video we learn about the interface and how to navigate in it. More advanced tutorials coming after. Hope this helps! Alex
DEFINITION OF WORDS:
Rendering: 3D rendering is the process of producing an image based on three dimensional data stored in a computer. It takes in the geometry, texture, lighting, shading and more information, puts it all together and is outputted into an image.
Translate: To move or carry from one place or position to another.
Frame: A single picture in a film or animation.
Emulate: To behave in the same way as something else; imitate.
Perspective: In 3D art is an approximate representation on a flat surface, (such as the computer screen), of an image as it is seen by the eye. Objects get smaller as the distance increases and the lines in certain places are shortened so it gives the illusion that the object is projecting or extending into the 3D space giving it the illusion of being 3D.
Orthographic: Is a way of showing a three dimensional object in two dimensions.
Axis: A straight line about which a 3D object moves, rotates, or scales around.
