In most racially diverse countries, race is usually a very sensitive topic and unity is often touted but rarely truly embraced. Stephen however, has a different and unique perspective on unity in the Malaysian context. How are we able to take small steps towards building a more united country? The answer could be as simple as sharing a laugh.
Stephen Hanlon is the co-founder of Rojak Culture, a social enterprise aimed at uniting Malaysians through play. Rojak Culture recognises that our collective Malaysian identitys is a unique blend of different cultures and with the launch of Lepak Game, they encourage Malaysians to participate in dialogues for unity through simple and light hearted ways.
