International Day of Yoga celebrations in the Chilean parliament was organized by the Chamber of Deputies, the highlight of which was children demonstrating yoga that they had learnt in school.

H.E. Ambassador Anita Nayar spoke on the occasion and also let the audience enchanted with the Shanti Mantra. Also speaking at the event were H.E. Deputy Loreto Carvajal, President of the India-Chile Inter-Parliamentary Group, who reminisced about her recent visit to India, and H.E. Deputy Cristina Girardi, who spoke about the importance of yoga for children.
