There is a way of using external effects processors with a Universal Audio Apollo Interface. In this video, I link up a MXR M300 Reverb Pedal to use as a send effect. Please note that the MXR Reverb is a high-quality stereo in and stereo out effects processor, if you want to use a different type of pedal such as a distortion pedal I would recommend getting a reamp box.
