This simple calculation can be a starting point for a healthier you! 📝💪🏻
In this reel, we’re breaking down BMI: Body Mass Index. It uses your height and weight to estimate your body fat percentage. While not perfect, it can still be a helpful tool!
Here’s how to calculate YOUR BMI:
1. Grab your weight in kilograms (kg) and height in meters (m).
2. Divide your weight (kg) by your height squared (m x m). For example, if you weigh 70 kg and are 1.7 meters tall, your calculation would be 70 kg / (1.7 m x 1.7 m) = 24.1 BMI.
3. Check the BMI chart (in the reel) to see your BMI category. This will give you a general idea of your weight range for your height.
Remember, BMI is just one piece of the puzzle.
