The new Blazing Bull skip in Sekiro is really only useful for two reasons:
1) Professional World Record speedrun attempts
2) Showing off to your internet friends

Originally this Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice speedrun skip required different positioning, but it has now been completely changed thanks to the latest patch (v1.04).

Performing this skip technique can be very difficult to master, as it requires near frame-perfect spacing, but there's plenty of room for error since the time taken to reset is minimal.

As I mention in this video, if attempting this Blazing Bull skip, make sure that you hold RIGHT on the directional analogue stick as soon as you make the second jump from the tree branch. If angled correctly, you'll end up on the 'unreachable' roof of the Blazing Bull miniboss arena. From there you can easily walk across the rooftops and to the Ashina Castle sculptor's idol.

Blazing Bull skip method aside, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a masterwork by Miyazaki & FROM SOFTWARE. I've been having a tonne of fun with it no stream lately!

This still works as of July 2020. I will update the description if this speedrun skip gets patched out.
