We spent October 30 and 31, 2021 in Saratov. The most important thing in the city is urban transport, and the main attraction is the only live Ikarus-415 in Russia, which we successfully caught. At the same time, other modes of transport were inspected. The trams are alive, but it is very painful for them to ride on dead tracks. The trolleybuses are in better condition, since Moscow sent their old trolleybuses here in 2020, there are also new trolleybuses with the ability to drive on batteries, without a contact network.
We also went to the suburbs of Saratov to take pictures of local passenger and freight trains.
