My new favourite way to decorate cookies is to dip them in royal icing. And if you add extra food colouring to your icing, you can create a pretty amazing marble effect. If you struggle with flooding cookies, this is a great alternative and is so easy to achieve. I am just obsessed with the marble look that the food colouring creates so expect to see more of this technique as I slowly ease back into cookie decorating.
