Ready for some know-how? It's not at all uncommon that changing out your inks with aftermarket products or non-prescribed methods will alter how the machine reads your ink levels. Many printer companies install memory chips inside of their ink cartridges to track the number of pages each cartridge has printed. The technology resets the count every time you replace a cartridge.
However, if you use an aftermarket (non-genuine) cartridge or opt to try and refill an OEM cartridge with a syringe, then the printer may show an "insufficient ink" message - even though there is plenty of ink left! This message may show up on your display or on your computer. If you ignore this message, you will likely be able to print normally, but you won't have an accurate account of new ink being implemented.
Take a look at how we reset this function so you'll be on top of your game.
When you're ready for new inks and toners, don't buy aftermarket products from overseas manufacturers. Buy remanufactured OEM cartridges; the ones that are guaranteed to work without throwing up warning signs. After all, some printers read low ink and simply stop printing even though the cartridge is full. [ Ссылка ] offers remanufactured OEM inks and toners that take the worry out of the process, and they sell them for half the price of buying new - most often they even rival those overseas manufacturers who make knock-offs.
