The markets have been going through a roller coaster week.

We have crucial CPI inflation data coming out on August 14th which will likely determine the trajectory of the markets.

On top of that we have a rapid steepening in the 10-year and 2-year treasury yield spread curve , which is a major concern as this pattern has occurred every single time before a recession. And next weeks CPI inflation data will likely cause the curve to steepen even more.
