Marie Antoinette is remembered in History today for being the executed Queen of France who was hated by her people and lost her head on the guillotine. Marie was led to the guillotine scaffold in France following her trial, and after the sharp blade fell her remains were placed in a coffin and they were then taken to the Madeleine Cemetery.

Marie's remains were buried inside of a roughly dug grave and they then would be exhumed decades later. But when the grave was opened and the coffin of the former Queen opened, what was found was remarkable.
