Etude 2, Binaural Beats
Alpha Waves experiment with changing beats, scanning from 8Hz to 14Hz, expanding from 220Hz.
Alpha Waves are associated with relaxation, focus, stress relief and light meditation.
Headphones are highly recommended.
Binaural beats are an auditory illusion that occurs when two slightly different frequencies are played separately into each ear. The frequency difference between the two tones is reconstructed in the brain as a single frequency, which is the essence of the concept of Binaural Beats.
This illusionary frequency is suggested to influence brainwave activity, helping to induce various mental states such as relaxation, focus, or deep meditation.
This video features 6 hours of Alpha Waves, which are expected to induce a sense of relaxed focus and stress relief.
Now, I enjoy developing stuff that may or may not melt my PC as much as the next developer, and these videos are generated faster than I can vibe with the beats of the binaural. Speaking of development, the video is generated using custom code to synthesise and save the audio, Cairo graphics for the rendering of the frames and FFmpeg for encoding. The project is written in c++. In case you were wondering.
