Here we go folks!

This is the first in a massive series of upcoming creative shares from me. The fire is burning and the wheels are turning.

In an epically powerful habit-forming manoeuvre the likes of which I have never done before, I’m re-committing to myself as an artist and creator.

And I AM HEREBY COMMITTING TO SHARING (at least) ONE VIDEO EVERY WEEK FOR THE NEXT TEN WEEKS.

After a recent (awesome) session with my fantastic mentor and coach Bo Kitty, the gameplan has been laid down. There is so much creative power in my brain, but I - like most of us - hold myself back all too often. The reasons are many, but the solutions are way more interesting.

So it’s time to do this stuff on the regular, regardless of how I feel about it, regardless of if it’s good enough, regardless of if it’s ‘ready’. Along with the videos, I have a about 2 EPs worth of music that I shall be releasing track by track on my Soundcloud/Bandcamp channels between now and the end of the year. I look forward to sharing a whole lot of magic with you all.

This performance system, this instrument, is something that I’ve been working at on and off for over two years now. There is so much more to be explored in there. I’m hungry for it, and so curious to see what else lies inside. Here’s a little take from the first sound-set that came out of this setup. In the coming weeks, I’ll be practicing up, and sharing a whole lot of new and interesting material that I’ve been working on recently. Let’s see what this freakin thing can do!!!

It certainly helps that I live with an incredible pro video creator by the likes of James Gillot from Jurassic Melbourne.com. It was ridiculous watching how fast he whipped this edit up. We’re doing an exciting skill-trade at the moment - he's helping me regularly create videos such as this, whilst I do sound edits for his work, teach him music theory, and whip up a few tracks for him to bust his freestylin MC ways upon.

The morals of the story:

- Ask for help. Work together. We are a hive like social creature and need others, and each need a squad of loving cheerleaders.
- Make commitments and meet them.
- Finished is better than perfect, and done is the engine of more.
