Chief Stephen Osita Osadebe (March 1936 – May 11, 2007) was a Nigerian highlife musician from Atani, Anambra State, Nigeria. He was one of the most popular and influential musicians in Nigeria and West Africa during the 20th century. He is best known for his unique style of highlife music, which blended traditional Igbo rhythms with modern instrumentation and arrangements. Some of his most famous songs include "Osondi Owendi," "Ije Awele," and "kedu America."
