//English Recipe for Fish Curry
Ingredients:
Pomfret Fish – 2 (cleaned & sliced)
Turmeric Powder – 1 tbsp
Mix Herbs – 1 tbsp
Onion – 1 bulb (sliced)
Curry Leaves – a handful
Garlic – 4 cloves (split into two)
Ginger & Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
Tomato – 1 (diced)
Chili Paste – 3 tbsp
Fish Curry Powder – 5 tbsp
Okra – 6 (cut into 2)
Brinjal – 1 (cut into small piece)
Tamarind Juice – 1/2 cup
Salt – to taste
Water – little
Method:
1) First, in a pot with medium flame, heat up oil. Add mix herbs, curry leaves & onion. Sauté till onions soft. Then, add in garlic & sauté again. Now, add ginger & garlic paste & sauté. Add tomato & sauté till soft.
3) Once soft, add in chili paste & sauté. Let it cook for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, add fish curry powder & sauté again. Now, add water & mix.
4) After that, add in okra, brinjal & salt. Mix again. Close lid & let it cook for 3 minutes. After 3 mins, add tamarind juice & mix.
5) Finally, add in the fish & mix slowly. Let it cook for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, Fish Curry is done!
